Easy Starburst Nail Art Tape Tutorial

Easy Starburst Nail Art using tape

I don't often use tape for nail art, I don't have the patience to wait for the base polish to dry lol.  It is an awesome effect though so here is a design using invisible tape.  Many other youtubers use painters tape, masking tape and regular sellotape however I much prefer the clear/invisible tape as it's soft and flexible, sticks well without leaving any gluey residue and leaves good clean lines.

I regret using the silver polish (China Glaze 'Cheers To You') as it showed up every imperfection, even the polish the glitter is stuck down with is super visible under the topcoat. If I could go back I would've gone with black instead, much more forgiving.  Oh well.

Try it with blue/white, green/black, yellow/black and a million other combinations, the bigger the contrast the better!

  1. Oh my gosh this is amazing! I have no idea why your are worried about the glitter polish and imperfections- i cant see any. its is honestly amazing! such skill!

  2. I love this design, it's pretty cute :)
Followed you, hoping to see more of these cute designs around. I'd like to try it as well (when I get the chance!).
